林后5：16-17 16所以，我们从今以后，不凭着外貌（注：原文作"肉体"，本节同）认人了。虽然凭着外貌认过基督，如今却不再这样认他了。17若有人在基督里，他就是新造的人，旧事已过，都变成新的了。
当一个人相信主耶稣基督后，重要的是要成为新造的人。如何成为新造的人呢？在罗马书6章中解释，我们藉着主耶稣宝血的水洗归入死，和祂一同埋葬，原是叫我们一举一动有新生的样式。一个受过水洗归入主耶稣的人，是披戴上主耶稣基督。这是一个起点，洗礼后我们是新造的人，我们的一举一动要有新生的样式，要有真理的仁义和圣洁。
人如何能成功披戴上主耶稣基督呢？关键在于相信之后，有否向着完全的地步前进。罗马书8章中教训我们，要靠着圣灵治死自己的恶行，顺从圣灵而行，不再顺从血气的肉体。
罗8：13 你们若顺从肉体活着，必要死；若靠着圣灵治死身体的恶行，必要活着。
当我们受洗后就已是披戴了基督，所以要继续坚持走在公义的道路上。因为我们即已经被赎，罪被洁净后，就不应该再玷污自己。
罗6：3-5 3岂不知我们这受洗归入基督耶稣的人，是受洗归入他的死吗？4所以我们藉着洗礼归入死，和他一同埋葬，原是叫我们一举一动有新生的样式，像基督藉着父的荣耀从死里复活一样。5我们若在他死的形状上与他联合，也要在他复活的形状上与他联合。
岂不知我们这受洗归入基督耶稣的人，是受洗归入祂的死吗？这是指着受水洗时，我们的面向下，与主耶稣基督死的形状上联合，我们已是与祂一同埋葬了。
所以加拉太书3:27 中所论及的“受洗归入基督”是指着受主耶稣基督宝血的水洗。

as many of you have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Question:
What does “baptised into
Christ” mean? Does it refer to the baptism of water, the baptism of the
Holy Spirit, or the baptism of fire? Please explain.
It is important for a person to become
a new man after he believes in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2Cor. 5:16-17
16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea,
though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no
more. 17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
How does he become a new man?
Rom. 6:4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as
Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life.
The above tells us that we are buried
with the Lord Jesus Christ by baptism into death. Henceforth, we must walk in
newness of life (i.e. walk in true righteousness and holiness) since a person
who has received water baptism by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ
has put on Christ.
How can a person successfully put on
Christ?
The key is whether or not he continues
to strive towards perfection after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans
Chapter 8 teaches us to rely on the Holy Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body
and live according to the Holy Spirit and not according to the flesh.
Rom. 8:13
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the
Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
We have put on Christ having undergone
water baptism. Thus, we should continue to strive to walk in the path of
righteousness. We should never defile ourselves again because we have been
redeemed and our sins have been cleansed.
Rom. 6:3-5 3Know
ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized
into his death? 4Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into
death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the
Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5For if we
have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in
the likeness of his resurrection:
Do we not know that those who were
baptised into the Lord Jesus Christ were baptised into His death?
We face downwards in the likeness of
the Lord Jesus’ death when we receive water baptism as we are considered to
have been buried together with Him. As such, "having been baptised into Christ" as mentioned in Galatians
3:27 actually refers to having undergone water baptism by the precious blood of
the Lord Jesus Christ.
