谨守的心是什么意思?
胆怯的心
在英文版本的圣经，提及“…胆怯、惧怕的灵…”，而中文圣经的记载是“因为神赐给我们不是胆怯的心，乃是刚强、仁爱、谨守的心。”
主耶稣基督曾经对祂的门徒说：你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。
约14:27 我留下平安给你们，我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的，你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。
罗8:15 你们所受的不是奴仆的心，仍旧害怕；所受的乃是儿子的心，因此我们呼叫："阿爸，父！"
我们乃是领受儿子的心、神的灵，所以我们不存有惧怕。在真神面前，若我们的心不责备我们，我们向神就坦然无惧了。
约一3:21 亲爱的弟兄啊，我们的心若不责备我们，就可以向神坦然无惧了。
约一2:28 小子们哪，你们要住在主里面。这样，他若显现，我们就可以坦然无惧；当他来的时候，在他面前也不至于惭愧。
若我们住在主耶稣基督里面，持守真神的真道，在我们心中有真神的爱，那我们根本不会有胆怯的心。
谨守的心
“谨守的心”就是警醒谨守真神恩道的心志。
帖前5:6 所以，我们不要睡觉，像别人一样，总要警醒谨守。
这就是谨守的意思，就是我们总要警醒。若我们不警醒，自以为站立得稳，那正是我们要面对跌倒的下场。
彼前1:13 所以要约束你们的心（注：原文作"束上你们心中的腰"），谨慎自守，专心盼望耶稣基督显现的时候所带来给你们的恩。
我们要约束自己的心，警醒谨慎自守。

For God
hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound
mind.
Questions:
How
do we know that one had received a spirit of fear?
What
does it mean by a sound mind?
A spirit of fear
The
English Bible mentioned “…spirit of fear...“ whereas the Chinese
Bible recorded “because God has not given us a heart of fear, but of
power and of love and of a sound heart.”
The
Lord Jesus Christ said to His disciples, “Let
not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of
bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we
cry, Abba, Father.
We
receive the spirit of adoption, the spirit of God, hence we are not afraid.
When we face God, we will have confidence toward Him if our heart does not
condemn us.
1John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then
have we confidence toward God.
1John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him;
that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before
him at his coming.
If
we abide in the Lord Jesus Christ, hold fast to the truth of God, and we have
the love of God in us, then we will not have the spirit of fear.
A sound mind
“A
sound mind” means being watchful and sober in keeping God’s word of grace.
1Thes 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others;
but let us watch and be sober.
This
is what is meant by “a sound mind”, which is to be alert. If we are not alert
and sober, and we think that we can stand firm on our own feet, we will fall.
1Pet 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be
sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the
revelation of Jesus Christ;
We
have to restrain our mind, be alert and be sober.
